Jeb Bush wants to lift restrictions on oil companies like Rice despite concerns for the environment. Oil companies have been banned since the 1970's energy crisis from exporting crude oil. Bush thinks that this goes against the American ideal of "permitting". I can see why Bush would condone this as an act of this magnitude will help lift our economy, but the damage that would be done is totally unreasonable. Jeb Bush is valuing short term profits over long term cost which is illogical.
