Bernie Sanders tells Latina lawmakers that he wants undocumented immigrants to benefit from Obamacare. However, I do not think undocumented immigrants are going to gain anything from this as in the article says that they will have to pay for Obamacare with their own money. This is not helpful as most undocumented immigrants do not have much money to begin with. The government should instead try to legalize undocumented immigrants and give them a chance to be citizens if they have resided in the U.S. for a reasonable amount of years and pay taxes like everyone else.

I don't see how it would be beneficial to the US government to support undocumented immigrants using Obamacare. This is spending tax-payer dollars and using them on non-citizens on the US.
ReplyDeleteThe main issue about undocumented people are illegal immigrants, so people would have the issue of why to support them. But as people living in this nation, they should first at least be legalized, then they should be able to get the right of medical aid. They shouldn't pay for the treatment since they need help, and don't have the money for the expensive treatment.
